Program Requirements

  • RCI Plumbing must initiate and maintain such programs as may be necessary to provide for frequent and regular inspections of the job site, materials, and equipment by designated competent persons.
  • The employer must instruct each employee in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions and in the regulations applicable to his work environment to control or eliminate any hazards or other exposure to illness or injury.
  • The use of any machinery, tool, material, or equipment that is not in compliance with any applicable requirement of OSHA Standards Part 1926 is prohibited.
  • Permit only those employees qualified by training or experience to operate equipment and machinery.
  • No task shall violate a safety rule or take a risk of injury or illness to complete the task.
  • Injury prevention shall be considered of primary importance in all phases of operation and administration.
  • Implemented written injury and illness prevention program with material safety data sheets.
  • Weekly employee and management safety education.
  • Weekly site walks to ensure safe work environment.
  • CPR certified staff.
